Many Voices sings the folk songs of the post-suburban youth. With simple, penetrating lyrics, and powerful, nuanced textures, Many Voices explores that tension between our dreams, and the world from which we must carve them.
Born in St. Louis, MO, Elliot Liebman was on track to become a session guitarist at the brutally competitive University of North Texas when a serious hand injury tore him from his guitar for over a year. Craving other outlets, Liebman poured himself into singing and songwriting, emerging from the hiatus with a bold new concept of music.
Many Voices flaunts aesthetic categories, melding the best elements of rock, folk, and soul into a style with the emotional resonance of Bon Iver, and the determined stride of Mumford and Sons.
