Born in St. Louis, MO, Elliot Liebman was on track to become a session guitarist at the brutally competitive University of North Texas when a serious hand injury tore him from his guitar for over a year. Craving other outlets, Liebman poured himself into singing and songwriting, emerging from the hiatus with a bold new concept of music.
Many Voices flaunts aesthetic categories, melding the best elements of rock, folk, and soul into a style with the emotional resonance of Bon Iver, and the determined stride of Mumford and Sons.
Liebman has performed on stages from the midwest to the Bay Area, most notably alongside Victor Wooten at Summer Camp Music Festival’s VIP tent. He has toured the west coast with the Brett Hunter Band, and the midwest with Many Voices, whose third album, Convalescent EP, is available now.
